Operation of a slot

Slot machines have a fairly simple mechanism. A random number generator (RNG) to select numbers and each number is represented by the symbols on the reels. In traditional machines of three reels that work electromechanical each reel is independent, which means that the machine picks a different number for each reel. In most sophisticated machines of five reels, the reels are generally dependent, so the machine selects a combination of five numbers game. Here we will discuss more traditional machines.

In three-reel slot machines, the random number generator to pick three numbers and each of these numbers corresponds to a location on each reel, then the machine spins the reels to stop at places selected by the generator. The principle is the same for five-reel machines, the generator only select five numbers instead of three.

It is a curious fact, but when the spin is in the game has already been defined, although the player does not know. Sites where each reel stops have been determined by the generator. In fact, the reels spin almost as a courtesy to the player that gives a sense of suspense and excitement, slots may well give the outcome of the game immediately after the coin has been inserted into the slot and turned the handle or button.

If ever you could see a technician working in a casino and disarm a slot, which would be a sort of strip of paper with a number of spaces (say 22) which would be distributed in the different figures in the All visible from the machine. You could also see some blank spaces that could be even up to 50% of the spaces of the strip. This could give the impression that you have 50% chance of finding a space, however, this is irrelevant because the number generator is designed to choose a number that matches a certain amount of virtual reel and not real reels. Thus, it is clear that there are more complicated processes and mechanisms that are evident to the eye, which is why slot machines are subject to many myths and popular beliefs.
